 The Multiple Body Heat Activated Missile (M.B.H.A.M.) is capable of firing multiple heat seeking missiles in rapid succession. As long as the fire button is held down the missile flies a straight path. Once the fire button is released the heat seeker in the missile activates and the missile locks onto the nearest target. Code name DRUNK.
Range Unlimited Advantages The delayed seeker mechanism can be used to allow the missile to avoid some flares. The multiple rocket capability enables the use of dispersal patterns creating the effect of guided shrapnel. Works best when more than one target exists. Disadvantages Since multiple missiles have to fit in the launcher, each missile is smaller and does less damage than a normal heat seeker. Not all missiles may find a target. Can be fooled by flares and the napalm flame thrower. Players can not use the knife while holding this weapon. Slot Sits in slot 3 replacing the knife. |
